PREVIOUS LOGON NOTIFICATION | NOTIFICATION OF ACCOUNT CHANGES The information system notifies the user of changes to ⚙organization-defined security-related characteristics/parameters of the user’s account during ⚙organization-defined time period.

>Tailoring Guidance

Control enhancement (3) is beneficial in that successful changes to security-related functions will not be detected by audit. By notifying the user of these changes, the user would be able to initiate a security incident if he/she wasn’t responsible for the change.
