DoD Components procure, implement, and utilize database monitoring solutions to monitor all databases containing regulated data types (e.g., CUI, PII, PHI, etc.). Logs and analytics from the database monitoring solution are provided to the SIEM for monitoring and response.
Analytics are utilized in cross pillar activities such as "Enterprise Security Profile Pt 1, Pt 2" and "Real Time Access Decisions" to better direct decision making.
