>Control Description
A business must not require a verifiable consumer request for a request to opt-out of ADMT set forth in subsection (a). A business may ask the consumer for information necessary to complete the request, such as information necessary to identify the consumer whose information is subject to the business’s use of ADMT. However, to the extent that the business can comply with a request to opt-out of ADMT without additional information, it must do so.
